Known for their signature style combining athletic daring and emotional depth, The Silver-Brown Dance Company presents their 8th Annual NYC Season. SBD's appearance at The Ailey Studios will feature original choreography by Artistic Director Eva Silverstein, performed by the Company of six dancers who embody "the joy of dance" (The New York Times).

The eclectic program will include three dance pieces: Flock (NYC Premiere) is a vibrant romp for five dancers who catapult through space at breakneck speed, accompanied by an original sound collage of baroque music including Corelli, Daquin, and Bach. Knock on Wood (NYC Premiere), a bold new work for the full Company, is set to the foot-stomping, heart-wrenching, and humorous recordings of Otis Redding. A special repertory surprise will complete the program, as The Silver-Brown Dance Company celebrates the human spirit through dance.
