WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Quality of Mercer, and Other Huckleberry Friends is Barbara Brussell's second appearance at the Laurie Beechman Theater, where she celebrated the release of her CD, Lerner in Love. She heads off the new Sunday brunch series with her continuing exploration of the life, loves and lyrics of Johnny Mercer, along with other great classic and contemporary songwriters--among them: Richard Whiting, Christine Lavin, John Wallowitch, Sammy Cahn, and introducing her favorite new song by a new songwriting team, Bacon & McElhone.
