WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The New England Symphonic Ensemble performs with choruses throughout the country. Terre Johnson conducts a Mozart piece, "Vesperae solenness de confessore" with choruses from California, New Jersey and South Carolina. John Rutter conducts a his own piece, "Mass of the Children" with choruses from California, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin. Scott Buchanan conducts "Ave Maria," "Gloria and Agnus Dei" (from Missa Kenya), "If Music Be The Food of Love," "Tres Cantos Nativos Dos Indios Krao" and the Easter Hymn (from Cavelleria Rusticana).

Preceding is a 1pm prelude concert with the Sumter High School Concert Choir, conducted by Eric Wilkinson, performing works by Harris, Eston, Wilkinson and Shackley.

No child under 5 is admitted to the Hall.
