First performed in a sell-out run at the National in 1985 before transferring to the West End, this production of The Mysteries reunites the original creative team. Tony Harrison's adaptation sets the production in a working-class environment. In this ground-breaking work, each play is complete in itself and, in sequence, The Nativity, The Passion and Doomsday tell the story from Creation to the Last Judgement.
