The Blue Meanies take listeners on a fun musical tour of the 1960s and 1970's, injecting new life into songs from popular music's best decades. Their set list features music by British Invasion bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, The Kinks, The Moody Blues and The Dave Clark Five, plus American bands including The Doors, The Byrds, The Monkees, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Dylan.
The Blue Meanies have performed at International Beatles Week in Liverpool, England. They are fan favorites at the annual Abbey Road on the River festival in Louisville, Kentucky. Closer to home, The Blue Meanies host the late-night jam session at the annual Festival for Beatles Fans in Secaucus, New Jersey. The band, a fixture at the NY/NJ Fest for 25-plus years, has also hosted jam sessions at Fests in Chicago and Boston.
