WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Join international theatre artists and scholars for a three-day weekend conference convened by the Castillo Theatre in conjunction with the Müller in America journal celebrating the work of the late German playwright Heiner Müller on April 1-3, 2005. This enriching weekend of workshops and panel discussions will explore the cultural and political impact of the theatre of Müller, one of the most significant Western writers of the second half of the 20th century. Following is an outline of the three days:
April 1 6:00-8:00pm Opening reception and keynote by Fred Newman 8:00 pm medeamaterial performance
April 2 9:45am-6:00pm Workshops and discussions, keynote by Carl Weber 8:00pm Revising Germany performance
April 3 12: 00-3:30pm Workshops and discussions
