The Melting Pot Theatre presents The Big Band Bash Gala, an evening that features a presentation of the second annual Pioneer Awards, this year honoring Broadway producer Anita Waxman and Hon. Harold O. Levy, New York City Chancellor of Schools.

The evening includes performances from past and presnt Melting Pot Productions including Cobb, Woody Gutherie's American Song, The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, along with their upcoming production of Tintypes.

Proceeds from this gala go to support the implementation of their Education Wing's exciting new program called HEADS UP.

Cocktails begin at 6:30pm and dinner, dancing and show all begin at 7:30pm.
