The Amas Six O'Clock Musical Theatre Lab is a development series for writers, lyricists and composers to mount staged readings of their new musicals. The four new musicals for this fall are:

Sex! The Musical
October 27 at 7pm, 28th at 3pm and 7pm
conceived by David Coffman, directed by Devanand Janki. Back by popular demand, this campy new review explores the topic on everyone's mind.

The Funkentine Rapture
November 3 and 4 at 7pm
book by Lee Sommers and Ben Blake, music and lyrics by Lee Sommers. A wild 70's soulful celebration of cool cats, catfish, romance and fat funky fried music.

Spin: A Musical Myth
November 17 and 18 at 7pm
by Kilburg Reedy, directed by Matt M. Morrow, featuring Alison Fraser and Anika Larsen. Based on the Greek myth of Arachne, this modern rock musical gives a new twist to an ancient tale of a rebellious young artist at odds with the Gods.

Six Women With Brain Death
December 8, 9 and 10 at 6pm
This cult hit slams into New York after successful regional productions and winning over the Edinburgh Fringe. This rock musical review spares no one in its insightful and hilarious takes on the demented pop culture of our great Nations: Welcome to the world of expiring minds!
