Famed dancer-turned-choreographer, Ann Reinking is honored with this year's Elan Award in a ceremony to take place on October 14, 2002. The award will be presented as part of a jazz festival sponsored by Broadway Dance Center and Dance Spirit magazine featuring the innovative and exciting work of emerging choreographers, culminating in the presentation of this year's award to Ms. Reinking by a special guest presenter. Ms. Reinking and her work have appeared in all major entertainment venues; from stage to the big screen to the small screen and back.
