TeatroStageFest 2009 is the third annual Ibero-American artistic, and educational, and cultural celebration produced by the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc. (LITF/NY). It features over 15 events including acclaimed theater performances from New York, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain, concerts, comedy nights, family programming, artist's panels, and a celebrated playwriting competition for high school students. Performances are in English or Spanish language with English supertitles. TeatroStageFest reaches thousands of multicultural and multigenerational theatergoers. An official event of the NYC Latin Media and Entertainment Commission, TeatroStageFest is supported by founding Sponsor Time Warner, Official Airline American Airlines, Bloomberg L.P., NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, New York State Council on the Arts, Con Edison, INAEM, TDF/Tap, and The Office of the Manhattan Borough President, among other partners.
