Take a Bow!, the annual gala for the Alliance of Resident Theatres honors Anita Durst, founder and Artistic Director of chashama, and Ted Snowdon, President of Ted Snowdon Productions and the Ted Snowdon Foundation. Mistress of Ceremonies for the event is Julie White, winner of the 2007 Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Little Dog Laughed. The event sponsor for Take a Bow! is the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation. The evening consists of cocktails, dinner, entertainment and live and silent auctions. Among the auction items is a collection of Pulitzer Prize-winning plays signed by every living recipient of the award, tickets to the U.S. Open, a trip to California with airfare courtesy of American Airlines, backstage tours for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, and many others.
