WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The world-premiere of this boldly re-imagined version of the timeless Russian masterpiece takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through space and time using light, shadows, music, dance and bunraku-style puppetry to tell the epic tale of Prince Ivan, the wizard Koschei and the magical Firebird in a struggle between good and evil. The Little Orchestra Society has commissioned award-winning designer and spectacle-maker Chris M. Green and internationally acclaimed choreographer David Neumann to help create this not-to-be-missed production that brings together eleven puppeteers with stunning imagery and the incomparable excitement of a live orchestra.
