Mr. Wallace is a brilliant musician, a thoughtful songwriter, and an inspiring producer with a dynamic vocal instrument and a broad range of expression. His music has a classic but youthful feel, maintaining its relevance to the present generation. It is both spiritual and socially conscious without being preachy. Steve Wallace credits a wide range of musicians as influences, from Stevie Wonder to Ludwig Van Beethoven. He transforms these influences, his intoxicating energy, and his positive outlook on life into his music. Onaje Allen Gumbs hosts the evening.
