WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
"People don't like hanging out around a smart-ass."
That's what a Catholic schoolteacher told Stephen Rannazzisi growing up in Long Island, New York. Stephen went on to prove her wrong by "hanging out" or "pissing off" many different celebrities on this season of Punk'd.
Stephen grew up on Long Island and graduated from a SUNY college with a degree in Theater. After graduation, he left to pursue the only career he was suited for--entertaining.
Upon his arrival in the Los Angeles, Stephen got a job as a doorman at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. It was there that he honed his skills amongst some of the most prolific comics in the business, such as Eddie Griffin, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Dice Clay. He also worked hard on his character acting and improvisational skills with The Groundlings School and comedy troupe.
All the hard work has started to pay off as the Hollywood industry has begun to take notice. Stephen was signed by top-level management and soon received his big break as a cast member on MTV's Punk'd. Some of his memorable appearances include towing Tracy Morgan's Jag, stealing Missy Elliot's "bling" and hitting Outkast with an enormous bill for crashing the "millennium falcon" of cars, the Maybach.
He has guest starred in the Fox series Kitchen Confidential, performed on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and was a series regular in the ABC series Big Day and See Jayne Run. His biggest gig to date is starring opposite Eddie Murphy in the Paramount feature Nowhereland.
With the respect of his peers and an undying commitment to his craft, the future looks very bright for this talented young performer.
