Dance New Amsterdam presents Splice: East Coast/West Coast, the world premieres of new works by Maija Garcia and Stephanie Nugent. Independent choreographers Garcia and Nugent reveal power and sensuality in feminine awareness as they address the competition for waning resources and the impossibility of capturing movement.
Choreographers Garcia and Nugent reveal the power and sensuality of the physical body through multi-disciplinary dance/theater works that address subjects such as the competition for waning resources, the impossibility of capturing movement, and the changing paradigms of feminism.
