Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College kicks off its 2011-2012 Target FamilyFun series with the acclaimed dance crew, Soul Street Dance, performing their street dance concert, Breakin' Backwards. Co-founders Javier Garcia and Rock Williams direct and perform along with three other dancers, each of whom brings his own set of tricks to the dance floor. From poppin' and lockin', power moves, and gymnastic stunts to b-boying, uprock, and even Brazilian capoeira, Soul Street Dance presents a high-energy blend of entertainment and artistry.
