WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

William Bolcom, piano Joan Morris, mezzo-soprano Robert White, tenor Hazen Schumacher, narrator Songs from America's wartime songbook - interlaced with narration - telling of life on the battlefront and the homefront, circa 1940's. Along with such popular hits as "G.I. Jive", "This is The Army, Mr. Jones," "The White Cliffs of Dover," and "I'll Be Seeing You," the evening will include the Bolcom chestnuts "Toothbrush Time" and "Graceful Ghost Rag."
