Sing for a Cure: A Valentine Cabaret Salute to Richard Rodgers features performers from theater, film, TV, and music presenting an evening of the music of Richard Rodgers. The event is presented as the 2003 Theatre Benefit for ZazAngels, an organization started by the late Emmy Award-winning actor Michael Zaslow upon his diagnosis with ALS. The event stars Rebecca Budig, Don Correia, Jeff Correia, Kathryn Crosby, Holly Cruikshank, John Dossett, Sandy Duncan, Eric Fennell, Marvin Hamlisch, Sheldon Harnick, Tripp Hornick, Cady Huffman, Peter Jason, Nicolas King, Kathleen Landis, Jose Llana, Andrea Marcovicci, James Naughton, Robert Newman, Marni Nixon, Dennis Parlato, Michele Pawk, Dana Reeve, Tony Roberts, Lea Salonga, Tamara Tunie, Phoebe Wadon, Kim Zimmer, and the cast of Forbidden Broadway. Alec Baldwin, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Senator Bob Kerry, and Senator Charles Schumer serve as Honorary Chairpersons. A cocktail reception and silent auction begin at 6:00pm. The performance begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are $500, $150, and $100 (students).
