WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Sentimental Journey celebrates the lush and nostalgic romanticism of American popular music during World War II. Extraordinary times brought extraordinary songs that are no less emotionally pungent today than they were in the early 1940s. Swing music raced to capture youth before it was gone. Ballads were achingly romantic. Karen Mason, Debbie Gravitte, Karen Oberlin, and Scott Coulter star in this tribute to an era when music was something you could fall in love with.
