Saga got together in 1977, and their unmistakable sound was considered their trademark from the very beginning. Success came in the early Eighties when the band entered the radio charts worldwide with albums like Images At Twilight (1979), Worlds Apart (1982) or Head Or Tales (1983) and hits like 'Humble Stance', 'Wind Him Up', 'On The Loose', 'The Flyer', 'How Long' or 'Don't Be Late'.

By the mid-Eighties, the Canadians with their "futuristic synthesis of pop music and classical elements" (Melody Maker) and "inventively orchestrated epic rock music" (Toronto Star) had conquered a continuously growing fan base. To this day, over seven million Saga records have been sold worldwide.
