In Rock-A My Soul, Gregory Bastien plays Taylor Cooper, the black man accused of carjacking Susan Smith's car and kidnapping her two little boys in Union South Carolina. The musical is written and directed by Van Dirk Fisher and Choreographed and assistant directed by David Robertson. The musical director is Anthony Harris.

The gospel/rock musical is based on a true story about love and devotion, and a woman as haunting as Medea! In Union South Carolina, Taylor Cooper was arrested for a crime he didn't commit. If he's found guilty he will be sentenced to death. One brother stood by him, his church prayed for him, and his mother never gave up on him. But who can save him when there are witnesses who saw him with the victims? Rock-A My Soul is a testimony to faith and the power of the human spirit.
