WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Rob Fisher examines the lyrics Ira Gershwin wrote with his brother George and with subsequent collaborators, such as Burton Lane and Kurt Weill. Fisher's pedigree as a Gershwin aficionado is unquestionable. He has performed Gershwin's Concerto in F and Rhapsody in Blue with orchestras across the country and played the solo piano music of George Gershwin from Carnegie Hall to Katmandu.
