WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Rick Derringer was just 17 when his band The McCoys recorded the No.1 hit "Hang On Sloopy" in the summer of 1965. Derringer also recorded and played with a version of Johnny Winter's band called "Johnny Winter And ..." and both Edgar Winter's White Trash and The Edgar Winter Group. Derringer also had a successful solo career, and his solo version of "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo" was a hit single. One of Pat Travers most popular songs is a cover of a Little Walter blues classic, "Boom Boom Out Go the Lights", Other popular songs included "Snorting Whiskey", "Heat in the Street", "I Just Got Paid Today" and "Stevie". The albums Go For What You Know and Crash and Burn from the early 1980s, increased his profile to that of a super star of the Guitar Rock world.
