The tragic events of September 11, 2001, forever changed the course of history. Yet from among the ashes of that fateful day come new lives and new hope. Rebirth, a powerful new film by visionary Hollywood filmmaker Jim Whitaker, offers an intimate look at the lives of five people coping with grief post-9/11. These ordinary people tap their boundless inner strength to overcome devastating loss and rebuild their lives one day at a time.

This stunning film uses footage from cameras mounted around Ground Zero, recording continuously for almost 10 years. Through the impressive use of time-lapse photography, you will be transported to this historical event and watch as both lives and buildings are rebuilt.

Following the screening, Pace University President Stephen J. Friedman will discuss the making of the film with director and producer Jim Whitaker.
