WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Vocalist Rebecca Kilgore makes a return engagement to Feinstein's, this time with the Harry Allen Quartet. Tenor saxman Allen is widely regarded as a leading torchbearer of the classic jazz sound with his own unique style. They team up for a tribute to vocalist Billie Holiday and tenor saxophonist Lester Young, who were friends and worked together seventy years ago to create some classic recordings. Rebecca and Harry combine their talents and love of the same great music which retains its magic and power today. Numbers will include "When You're Smiling," "Time On My Hands," "I'll Never Be The Same."
