The buzz is growing into a roar for multi-instrumentalist Raul Midon, "a Must See Performer!" (Miami Herald) who straddles soul, pop & jazz, with a hair-raising voice and dazzling guitar technique that has been blowing minds everywhere he performs, including shared bills include dates with artists as diverse as Bebel Gilberto, Jeff Beck, Cesaria Evora, Donnie, Kaki King, Willy Porter and Sam Moore (of Sam and Dave) at venues ranging from The Kennedy Center to the Beacon Theater to BAM. At a Carnegie Hall performance at this summer's JVC Jazz Festival, Midon "stopped the show with his horn scats and melisma on Stevie Wonder's 'Make Sure You're Sure'" (Newsday). Midon has performed with artists varying from Shakira to Chaka Khan, sang background vocals on 60 records and most recently, has been featured on DJ/Producer Louie Vega's record Elements of Life.
