Renee Gladman is the author of three works of prose, Juice, The Activist, and Newcomer Can't Swim, as well as a book of poems, A Picture-Feeling. She is the publisher of Leon Works, a press for experimental prose and the "thinking text," and teaches fiction at Brown University.

Anna Joy Springer was the lead singer and lyricist in punk bands Blatz, The Gr'ups, and Cypher in the Snow and has toured the U.S. and Europe with these bands. She's also the Assistant Professor of Writing at UCSD. Her first novel, The Vicious Red Relic, Love, is forthcoming.
