PUNCH 59 is intelligent, irreverent, fearless sketch comedy in the grand tradition of those who came before (SNL, Kids In the Hall). PUNCH 59 features original sketches and scathing parodies like  "Interfaith Understandings with Rev. Bill and Betty", "Military Thespians", and "I Woke Up Racist" --  as well as "Movie, Movie," a one-act by Tony-Winner Thomas Meehan ("Hairspray", "The Producers") .PUNCH 59's cast is Jen Ryan (NYCFringe Outstanding Performance Award), Rik Sansone,  ("Summer '69), Amir Darvish (Freddie Mercury: Life of a Rock God), Adam P. Murphy ("Easy Outs"), Carlos Espada (KISSNation), Marek Sapieyevski ("Easy Outs"), and Rebecca Lewis-Whitson (Ragtime).REALITY ASIDE has been staging comedic theatre at the Times Square Arts Center (TSAC) since 2007, most recently with The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) and The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, and currently they are building an educational sketch comedy group.  Reality Aside is proud to have PUNCH 59 at the TSAC!
