A generation of children grew up singing Alan Menken's songs from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. But theater fans also know Menken as the composer of such tuneful and innovative theater scores as Little Shop of Horrors and Weird Romance. Stars of Broadway and Hollywood gather to celebrate this unique artist whose songs have become part of our world. Performers include Kerri Butler, Brian D'Arcy James and Judy Kuhn.
