WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Intrique, influence, jealousy and betrayal are explored in Shakespeare's tragedy directed by Michael Attenborough. In a backdrop of racial tension, Othello's insecurity and jealousy are exploited by his political advisor, Iago. Othello is driven to extreme measures when he is led to believe his beloved wife, Desdemona, has been unfaithful.
