WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In a program tailored for families and created exclusively for The Town Hall, One World Symphony, under the musical direction of Sung Jin Hong, presents John Williams's suite from George Lucas's landmark epic Star Wars, Bernard Herrmann's critically acclaimed scores for Alfred Hitchcock's classic thrillers Vertigo and North by Northwest, scenes from Rodgers and Hammerstein's melodic Broadway and film hit South Pacific from Walt Disney's Fantasia 2000, Igor Stravinsky's magical ballet The Firebird, and extra "surprise" entries. One World Strikes Back: Music from Hollywood Films is One World's first appearance since a sold-out concert of Bernstein and Gershwin last spring.
