Becky Yamamoto has always loved the musical Oklahoma! She has never met her biological father. She has never figured out why both of these things are true. Tonight, she settles it once and for all. With special guests. OKAY! written and performed by Becky Yamamoto with special guests. directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni ADMISSION IS FREE Seating is limited! Reserve now! Since 1999, In The Works has been the literary wing of Second Generation's productions, and has provided workshop opportunities for several dozen of new plays by emerging and early-career Asian American writers, in addition to new generations of Asian American actors and directors. Each In The Works staged reading provides writers with a professional cast and director. All readings are followed by a short Talkback between artists and audiences.In The Works concert staged readings have always been free and open to the public. Support for In The Works is provided in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
