Bob Ost's Not Quite What You Expected!, nominated for a 2004 MAC Award for Revue of the Year, features original cast members Annie Hughes, Stephen Hope, Michael-Demby Cain and Mary Setrakian, plus talented replacement MariEileen O'Brien, bravely stepping in for Marnie Baumer. It's a quirky, funny collection of songs and observations about the way that life -- and people -- often take us by surprise. Directed by famed casting director Barry Moss, with music direction by Mara Waldman, the show happens to feature three songs from Bob's MAC-nominated CD, "Everybody's Gettin' into the Act" (Fynsworth Alley label) which is available at Amazon.com and at Tower Records.
