Sourceworks Theatre and The Duplex will present the New York premiere of the acclaimed musical comedy No Minimum. Taking it's cue from the likes of Greater Tuna and The Mystery of Irma Vep, this show features two versatile performers who portray a dozen showbiz hopefuls & has-beens searching for fame in the seedy lounges and cabarets that make up the underbelly of the entertainment industry. Set in various chintzy "boites" from Scranton to Miami, the show introduces us to such unforgettable characters as Nick & Vicki, a husband & wife singing team whose marital disharmony routinely spills into their club act; The Chai-Los, an elderly pair of memory-challenged Yiddish vaudevillians celebrating their 65th or 67th year in show business and the Crullers, the legendary yet forgotten folk singers.
