WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

New York's Best Emerging Jewish Artists showcases the best local Jewish talent from a variety of performing and visual arts. Established performers introduce emerging Jewish artists for a dynamic evening of cutting-edge literature, art, comedy, and music. Stand-up storyteller Jonathan Ames hosts. Participating artists include comedian Corey Kahaney; producer Michael Dorf; animator Hanan Harchol; DJ Handler; actress and poet Vanessa Hidary; monologist and storyteller Josh Lefkowitz; comedian Lenny Marcus; MC Y-love; singer-songwriter Chana Rothman; vocalist and songwriter Amy Tobin; pianist Ben Waltzer; musical comedy duo What I Like About Jew; the Zagnut Orkestar musical ensemble; and others to be announced. After the program the festivities continue on the Museum's third floor terrace overlooking New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty with an after-party featuring the musical stylings of DJ Handler.
