Michael Feinstein, Cheyenne Jackson, Brian d'Arcy James, Idina Menzel, Anika Noni Rose, and Ashford & Simpson perform at the New York Pops' 26th Birthday Gala, hosted by Liz Smith.

The evening honors the popular cabaret space, Feinstein's at Loews Regency on its tenth anniversary, celebrating both Feinstein, who curates the space, and Loews Hotels Chief Executive, Jonathan Tisch. The event also includes a salute to New Amsterdam Rediscovered, a joint Dutch-American initiative celebrating the 400th anniversary of the exploration of New York Harbor and the Hudson River.

The New York Pops is conducted by Steven Reineke, and the performance marks the world premiere of the American River Suite written by Stephen Flaherty with lyrics by William Schermerhorn, dedicated to Henry Hudson's historic voyage, and sung by Menzel and Rose.
