The New Island Festival is a 10-day mash-up of the best of Holland, all on New York's Governor's Island. Thrilling concerts, exhilarating DJ sets, provocative theatre, stunning site-specific performance and dazzling visual arts, performed by more than 100 world-class Dutch artists. The Festival is part of NY400, an extraordinary celebration to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage from Amsterdam to New York Harbor.

Your Passport is an "All-Access" pass to enjoy nearly everything the Festival has to offer, all for one low price. When you arrive on Governor's Island, simply proceed to the Festival box office, show your email receipt and you'll be issued your Passport. The box office staff will be delighted to advise you and make suggestions about the wide variety of shows and events taking place at the Festival that day and will issue you free tickets for those you wish to see. All you have to do next is sit back, relax and enjoy!
The most basic form of advance sale is the $35.00 Passport which is essentially an "All-Access" pass to nearly all of the events at the Festival. Some of the major theatrical shows will still require a physical ticket from the Festival box office on the Island, but such tickets are free for Passport holders and are available exclusively for Passport holders until one hour prior to the performance.
The Premium Passport option guarantees admission to the customer's choice of ONE of SEVEN productions playing on the same day for which they are purchasing a Passport. The customer will need to make the choice of show simultaneously with the purchase of the Passport.
-Passports are valid only for the date purchased.
-Passports may be picked up only at the Festival box office on Governors Island, upon presentation of purchase confirmation email receipt. You must present your purchase confirmation in order to pick up your passport. Guaranteed show tickets purchased in advance will be issued together with Passports.
-Upon pickup and/or presentation of Passport at the Festival box office on Governors Island, Passport holders may obtain free tickets to nearly all shows and events playing at the Festival on that day.
-Individual show and event tickets are made available to Passport holders at the Festival box office on a first-come, first-served basis each day subject to availability.
-Passport holders may obtain one (1) ticket per Passport for any given show or event.
-Passport holders may not request tickets for shows whose performance times conflict or overlap. The box office will be able to advise customers as to how many and which shows may be seen in the course of a single day.
-Passports do not guarantee admission to any specific show or event, as seating at several shows is limited.
-Seating at all shows and events is general admission. There is no assigned seating for any show or event at the Festival.
-Show tickets for "BRAAKLAND", "BROEDERS", "UNDER CONSTRUCTION", "LAN", "LA VOIX HUMAINE" and "ORFEO" are available exclusively to Passport holders until one (1) hour prior to the performance.
-Lost or stolen passports will not be replaced.
-No refunds or exchanges.
