Is all fair in love? Even murder? That's the question posed by this quirky, hilarious suspenseful comedy about a love triangle in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn. In 1979, Mitchell Lovell, a commonplace dentist who imagines himself as a dashing hero, conspires with Arlene Miller, a "Femme Fatale" (of sorts), to murder her husband Paul, a blundering, monochromatic, money-obsessed used car salesman. However, as confident as this duo believes themselves to be, their criminal plans quickly go more awry than President Carter's intervention in Iran.
