WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Michael Wilcox brings Mrs. Steinberg and the Byker Boy to the Bush, just in time to celebrate the starring Miriam Karlin's 75th birthday. Karlin plays Mrs. Steinberg, who runs the socialist Red Flag charity shop in Newcastle. The shop provides the perfect material for Matty, a gay man who wishes to change the shop into a thriving business.
