Mo Beasley is an award-winning performance poet and spoken word artist who integrates his training as an actor, philosophical insights and creativity for the page as well as for the stage. He has performedd with artists such as Sonia Sanchez and Abiodun Oyewole (The Last Poets), Toni Blackman, Maritri and Universes. He has also featured or headlined at Nuyorican Poets Café, Aaron Davis Hall, NJ Performing Arts Center, and most recently at the legendary Blue Note and Minton's Playhouse.
