WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Jimmy Cobb, the legendary drummer from both albums, unites with music director Mulgrew Miller and a capella masters Take 6 in a new interpretation of Kind of Blue, including "So What" and "Freddie Freeloader." Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) saxophonist Ted Nash debuts new arrangements of "Naima" and "Mr. P.C." from Giant Steps, joined on stage by fellow JLCO saxophonists Walter Blanding and Sherman Irby.
