WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Fresh from sold out performances at The Laurie Beechman in midtown, Mel & El: This Show Rhymes brings it's 75 minutes of in-your-crotch comedy to The Duplex. Created and performed by funny femmes Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin, with music by Patrick Spencer Bodd, Evan Toth, Noah Diamond and Amanda Sisk, the show includes songs that are witty ("Roommates"), heartfelt ("The Heartfelt Song"), and irreverent ("Nice Jewish Boys"). After listening to the instant dance hit "Fagnet" ("F - A - G plus Magnet equals FAGNET!"), Culturebot.org wrote, "We listened to it and well, we're kvelling. Seriously... this is hot." The show is intended for audiences of legal drinking age who are ready to spend the evening with a couple of loose-lipped ladies who aren't afraid to be naughty.
