WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
With original lyrics by Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin, and music by composers Patrick Spencer Bodd, Noah Diamond and Amanda Sisk (Burning Bush: A Faith-Based Musical), and indie rocker Evan Toth, Mel & El: This Show Rhymes is a 75 minute musical tour-de-force featuring songs that are witty ("Does This Song Make Me Look Fat?"), heartfelt ("The Heartfelt Song"), and irreverent ("Nice Jewish Boys"). After listening to the instant dance hit "Fagnet" ("F - A - G plus Magnet equals FAGNET!", Culturebot.org wrote, "We listened to it and well, we're kvelling. Seriously...this is hot."
