This theater actress began her career singing at Steve McGraw's and the Russian Tea Room. She's gone on to appear on Broadway in such shows as Hairspray (Motormouth Maybelle), The Women, Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk, Jelly's Last Jam, Showboat, and Grease (Teen Angel). Many experiences in regional theater, off-Broadway, and in such films as Jeffrey, Coming to America, Romance and Cigarettes, and Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life is Calling followed, as did television appearances on Twin Peaks and many more. Now, Ms. Davis wants to get back to her roots.
