Harlem Stage on Screen presents the world premiere of Thomas Allen Harris' new documentary film, Marriage Equality: Byron Rushing and the Fight for Fairness at Aaron Davis Hall in Harlem. The film tells the story of State Representative Byron Rushing, a straight LGBT civil rights ally, who fought successfully for same-sex marriage in Massachusetts. The documentary provides an in depth look at the issue of Marriage Equality from the perspective of communities of color.
