The Amazing Max bursts with striking visual magic, comedy and loads of audience participation. Magician Max Darwin makes objects appear out of thin air, defies the laws of physics, and performs miracles inches from spectator's faces. "An awesome and hilarious live magic show" PBS Kids. "Max Darwin is indeed amazing " Time Out Kids. "His ability to astound is something to see" Huffington Post. This show is the wackiest, most interactive, highest energy magic show for families in town today.
Featuring world class illusionists handpicked from across the globe, Broadway's holiday smash hit, The Illusionists, returns to New York City with a new show designed to transport audiences back to the golden age of magic. The Illusionists - Turn of the Century is centered in a time when conjurers were the true rock stars of the day. Showcasing the origins of some of the greatest and most dangerous illusions ever built, the show also unveils never-before-seen experiments drawn from a treasure trove of long-forgotten mysteries.
Audiences are invited to discover first-hand the spectacles that transformed stage entertainment over 100 years ago with a cast of world famous magicians playing incredible characters, each of whom embodies a magical great of the past.
In Straight Up Magic, Jason Bishop infuses old school tricks with new school stagecraft in a virtuosic performance of skill, from stunning sleight of hand and "close-up" magic to dazzling, full-stage illusions. The only illusionist in the U.S. to tour the rare Double Levitation, Plasma Illusion and Op-Art—all of which will be featured in Straight Up Magic—Jason Bishop will perform the Walking through a Brick Wall and Cage Levitation feats, among others.
Helder Guimarães, one of the premier close-up artists of the world, returns to New York City in his all-new show Verso, following the acclaimed sold-out engagement of Nothing to Hide. Intimate and enigmatic, witty and unorthodox, Verso is Helder's most daunting journey into the impossible yet. Bear witness as he pushes the very limits of magic, and challenges just how much you're willing to accept what your eyes assume to be true.
