WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The 92nd Street Y continues its 30th Anniversary Season of Lyrics and Lyricists with a tribute to the living legends of American song, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. These two songwriters have won five Tony Awards and written the lyrics and scripts to some of the most memorable and ebullient musical comedies produced on the New York stage and in the film world of Hollywood. The host of this tribute is theater critic Rex Reed. Among those scheduled to appear are KT Sulivan, Jan Neuberger, cabaret favorites Jeff Harnar and Mark Hardy and special guests Polly Bergen and Billy Stritch.
