WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Lou Myers -- "Old Mister" from The Color Purple on Broadway -- performs his one man cabaret Blues show, Just a Little Bit of Something.
This one night performance is to benefit Global Business Incubation's innovative student entrepreneur summer project at Community Harvest Charter School. Mr. Myers is Chairman of the Board and Chief Enlightenment Officer for Global Business Incubation (GBI) a non-profit incubator research and development organization.

Forty plus inner city youth will apprentice with mentors to model and simulate a real business incubator that launches a business, product or idea in a collaborative hands-on project based environment. The students will also focus on solutions to community problems. Strategic alliance partners include Loyola Marymount University, Eddie Thomas Productions, the Umoja Group, Voice to Page.com, Sigma2000, 92star5.com, Urban Classic Books, the Kiwanis Club of Crenshaw, the Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce, Walmart, Wells Fargo Bank and many other corporations and educational institutions.

Lou Myers is now appearing on Broadway for the fourth time. He is best known as the irascible restaurant owner "Mr. Gaines" on the, hit Television series A Different World. He can be seen in such movies as Lakawanna Blues (HBO), The Fighting Temptations, Wedding Planner, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Bullworth, Friday After Next, Passions of Darkly Noon (Showtime), Tin Cup, Volcano, Everything's Jake, The Stand In, All About You and Goodbye Lover and Cobb.

There is a two (2) drink minumum per person.
