WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Long a fixture in musical revues on NYC cabaret stages, Hector makes his solo debut. In Life is Wonderful, Hector explores the musicality of mortality through the words and music of Ben Folds, Kander and Ebb, Zoe Lewis, Susan Werner, Brett Kristofferson, David Caldwell, My Chemical Romance, William Finn and other contemporary songwriters. Musical direction is by Ray Bailey, with direction by Angela Shultz. Dale Henderson joins on cello. Life is Wonderful premiered in May 2009 to sold out houses at Don't Tell Mama.
