Lawrence Goldhuber and his company, BIGMANARTS, present the premier of his newest dance theater piece, The Sleeping Giant, Goldhuber's vibrant, politically charged work tells the allegorical tale of America's rise, fall, and rebirth as seen through the eyes of a small town. The story of twin brothers traveling opposite paths unfurls in this evocative stage production, written by and featuring artwork by collaborator and graphic novelist Daniel Duford. The environment showcases Duford's gritty, vivid drawings of an American town and is punctuated with projections, video enhancements, and live performance by the nationally acclaimed acoustic chamber music group Tin Hat.
